Lot consist of: (A) Colt Woodsman semi automatic pistol. Made 1937. Standard patent date on top of the barrel. Round, steel barrel with adjustable blade front sight and u notch rear. Original blued finish on the barrel and frame. Early style checkered wood grips. Magazine is early, two tone finish with "COLT WOODSMAN/CAL. 22 L.R." stamped on the floor plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Model 1908 Hammerless Vest Pocket semi automatic pistol. Made 1929. "VP" proof on the trigger guard. Standard patent dates on the left side of the frame. Original gloss blue finish on the frame and slide with some visible fire blue on the trigger and grip safety. Checkered wood grips with Colt medallions. Includes late production all blued magazine, unmarked. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with some light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is bore is sharp with very good rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
