Rifle A: Serial No. 02565. Is a Spanish Special Purpose FR7 Rifle. During the 1950s a limited number of Spanish Model 1916 and Model 43 short rifles were arsenal converted to transition training rifles for the CETME. These rifles saw considerable use with the Spanish special forces. These were converted to fire the Winchester .308 cartridge. Features: 18" barrel, retains virtually all the reapplied dull arsenal finish, wood stock is good. Fine bore and action. Rifle B: Serial No. F22549. Columbian FN Model 1950 short rifle. In the early 1950s FN delivered a number of new rifles chambered for the US cartridge .30-06. The Model 1950 rifle sports a 22-3/4" barrel, features the Columbian national crest, bolt number matches the receiver, the right side of receiver is dated 1952. The rifle retains almost all the reapplied arsenal finish and is in near mint condition. Has an import stamp "Imported by INTERARMS. Rifle does not appear to have seen any use since manufacture or conversion.
