M1 Carbine built between February 1943 and September 1943 by National Postal Meter. Underwood and flaming bomb marked barrel dated 1-43. Correct National Postal Meter stamped trigger guard and trigger group. "LN" marked recoil shield. Unmarked front sight with "S" marked flip rear sight. "UI" marked wide bow sling band. "N" marked slide well with correct pointed slide spring guide. Replaced flip safety. "N" marked flat bolt. "JLB" marked sling well wood stock with crossed cannons on the right side. "TN" marked handguard with two rivets. Comes with unmarked oiler and green woven sling. CONDITION: Overall good with mostly correct parts possible added metal finish. Good bore. ME reading: 2. Wood has original finish and is uncut. Mechanically sound and functions fine. Missing clip.
