Manufactured 1909. Masterfully engraved with gold inlaid game scenes of squirrels and rabbits in forest backdrops. Vignettes are surrounded by scroll and gold borders. Muzzle, chamber, and tangs are engraved with matching borders of gold. Gold accented trigger and takedown knob. Buttplate engraved with fine scroll with gold accented screws and magazine handle. Highly figured oil finished straight stock and forend are elaborately checkered and carved with Germanic oak leaf and acorn pattern. Right side game scene vignette signed with engraved marking "NK". CONDITION: Extremely fine with some very light handling impressions. Brilliant bore and excellent wood stocks. Mechanically excellent.
