(C) PRE-WAR COLT SERVICE MODEL ACE .22 LR SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL (1939)

Pre-war production, manufactured in 1939. Features a standard blue finish and an adjustable rear sight. The slide features the Colt patent date roll marks and "Colt Service Model Ace" on the obverse. Serial number is located on the frame and a verified proof is present on the forward bow of the trigger guard. A fine checkered wide spur hammer and fine checkered arched mainspring housing are present. CONDITION: The blue finish exhibits high edge wear on the slide flats and the muzzle. Wear is present on the dust cover of the frame. The front grip strap finish is an even grey patina. Mechanically fine, bore with strong, bright rifling.
