This rifle was built in 1934 and features the blued finish, a ramp front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, barrel mounted scope block and a left side mounted Lyman 48 receiver sight. It was custom stocked in the deluxe pre-war style with checkered pistol grip, horn type grip cap and has a period solid red pad. The 3x grain walnut has a straight comb with a roll over cheek piece. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel and receiver retain nearly all of their blue finish showing some light muzzle wear and nominal handling marks. The receiver is missing the two forward tap screws. The floor plate and trigger guard show flashes of blue mixing patina. The old pad has flattened. Left side of stock shows a professionally replaced piece of wood. Mechanically sound with a strong but lightly frosted bore. Nice pre-war custom in a great caliber.
