Factory letter states that this revolver was shipped Aug 28th, 1930 to Wolf & Klar Co. of Fort Worth, Texas, with blue finish and checkered walnut grips. Remains in that configuration and has matching serial number on barrel and cylinder. These revolvers were built on the N frame, five screw, pinned barrel. The silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips are in excellent to near mint condition and fit perfectly but are numbered to another gun. Revolver retains approximately 85% of the brilliant original factory blue finish with light high edge wear and some minor storage marks on right side of frame. Case colored hammer and trigger have generous amounts remaining. Indexes and locks up perfectly with strong clean bore. Blue Heavy Duty models are very difficult to locate and this is a fine example.
