Remington Grade 2 hammer fired shotgun made by Remington Arms Company from 1889 to 1909. 30" Twist Steel 12 gauge barrels with matted rib, extractors, and bead front sight. Case hardened Grade 2 frame with double triggers, hammers, and top opening lever. Checkered walnut round knob pistol grip stock with Remington hard rubber buttplate. Matching latch release checkered splinter forearm with ebony inlay. CONDITION: 70% remaining twist pattern with several worn silver patches. Action has 10% original case colors with carry areas worn to a brown patina. Wood has traces of original varnish with some light dings and usage marks. Good shootable bores and mechanics. A nice original old hammer Remington. DLM
