Manufactured in 1908. Features include the sleeved barrel, blue finish, dovetailed front sight on base, replacement flat top rear sight, walnut stock with Remington gutta percha buttplate and matching forearm with a schnabel forend. CONDITION: Fine. The wood is excellent as expertly refinished with no rear swivel. Barrel is a butter smooth patina. Receiver retains about 30% blue with balance also smooth patina. Legends are sharp. Bore is well defined but lightly frosted. This is a very early example.
