This six shot double action revolver is dated 1935 on left side of frame with star. Originally built in Belgium until 1898 when production was moved to the Tula Arsenal. The double action was made for Russian officers and was the official Imperial Army issue through WWII. The Izhevsk arsenal began building the M1895 revolvers in 1941 as need increased. It features an arsenal dull blue finish and displays a dovetailed front sight, checkered wood grips and a lanyard ring. This example is import stamped on barrel. Comes with a period holster and some original ammunition. CONDITION: Excellent. Shows in almost new condition as arsenal finished displaying a bit of muzzle wear and light handling. Mechanically sound and retains a bright bore.
