Made in 1938 by Savage Arms Company, Utica, New York. Gun features matted rib blued barrels with twin bone beads marked with Savage logo and address made from special alloy steel. Case hardened boxlock action with extractors, double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with plastic buttplate. Checkered semi-beavertail forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 80% barrel blue with mirror bores. 70% case colors with wear where you carry the gun. 70% varnish with light handling marks. Mechanically solid. Possibly has had chokes opened up. DM
