(C) SECOND GENERATION COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER IN .38 SPECIAL
Produced in 1959, this revolver features a single line address and a roll die caliber marking. The frame has a two line patent date with Rampant Colt. The hammer has a blued rounded top with fine checkering. The grips are two piece checkered hard rubber. Scarce for caliber and barrel length, with only 6,506 blued variants produced in the second generation. CONDITION: The revolver has all matching numbers including the grips. Some finish loss, primarily at the muzzle, with scattered handling throughout. There are light turn lines on the cylinder. The blued finish is starting to thin on the backstrap. The case colors are strong and vibrant. The bore and mechanics are excellent.
