Circa 1942. A fancy 12 gauge with 29 - 1/2" blued barrels. Barrels are fit with 2 - 1/2" chambers, extractor, machined swamp game rib with round steel front bead sight. Fixed chokes of Extra Full and Full. Barrels also with loop for sling. The gold washed boxlock action is engraved with floral scroll and game scenes of running deer, fox in grassy knoll, and a pair of hare in a farm field. Action with double triggers, cocking indicator, top leaver and push slide safe. Action also with Greener styled locking bolt. All are gold washed. Dark straight grained European walnut stock with finely checkered pistol grip, decorated black pistol grip cap, cheeckpiece, loop for sling and horn serrated butt plate. Schnabel styled splinter forend with gold washed engraved latch release and iron metal. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retain mostly all of their early blue. Left bore with some interior markings from storage. Action is good with triggers being light and crisp. Stock with some indications of use as well as ware. Forend good with some handling marks. CP
