Smith Corona Model 03-A3 Bolt Action Rifle with DCM shipping box dated 1957. Gun features a Smith Corona barrel dated 1943, 1923 pattern shooting web sling, and correct Smith Corona buttplate. Gun does not appear to have been a rebuild. FJA cartouche stands for Frank J. Atwood who inspected these rifles from 1942-44. CONDITION: Unissued with virtually all of the original parkerized finish remaining on metal parts. Stocks are very good with virtually all of the original oil finish remaining. Overall this gun is in very good to excellent condition with very few storage and handling marks. Action functions and locks tightly. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves.
