(C) SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION TAKEDOWN RIFLE
Dates to 1902. This special order rifle features the round barrel with takedown half magazine, a dovetailed front sight, folding leaf express rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock, rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Frame retains approximately 75% of its bright blue mixing patina with some usual striations. Barrel retains majority of blue with some blending patina and age freckling. Legends are sharp. Wood is solid with some added finish, scattered impressions and one larger scar on right side. Mechanically sound with a well defined frosted bore.
