SA 12-36 dated Star Gauged barrel. Strongly S.A. SPG. in box inspected "C" stock with full pistol grip and coursely checked match butplate. Toe of stock is marked with drawing number 1504227 & D1836 with large circle "P" proof forward of pistol grip. Type III handguard is marked with drawing number D28179. Polished bolt and polished internal rails. Fitted with proper Lyman receiver sight. Military rear sight has had slide elevator removed. Steel oil/solvent cleaning kit is in trap in butt. CONDITION: Very fine overall with most military finishes remaining with slight losses at muzzle from use, front sight from hood use, Rear sight body is thinning finish. Wood stocks are excellent with minor storage marks, no cracks or splits and no material loss. Action operates properly. TDW
