(C) SPRINGFIELD ARMORY US MODEL 1903 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

This is a 1929 produced barrel and frame. Barrel is stamped SA 3-29 with ordnance bomb. It went back for a post WWII arsenal inspection and rebuild as evidence by the RA-P (Raritan Arsenal) stamp on left side of the walnut field replacement style scant pistol grip stock that has no finger grooves, two bolt stock reinforcements, a pre WWII sight grooved handguard, all milled parts, a serrated trigger, checkered butt plate with smooth trap, a 2700 yard flat knob WWII style rear sight and has the matte arsenal re-applied blue finish. CONDITION: Excellent as overhauled. The stock displays some nominal impressions and dings. Metal retains vast majority of its arsenal finish displaying minor handling and high edge wear. The bore is bold with a TE reading of 2 and an ME reading of 1.
