Introduced in 1952. Built on the concealed hammer steel J-frame. Features four screw, flat latch, all steel construction, five shot, double action, blued finish, case colored trigger and silver medallion smooth walnut grips. Matching number on bottom of barrel, cylinder and right grip panel. Retains approximately 75-80% original blue, the balance turning patina. Has the initials "F.S." on bottom of forward frame. Some stippling at rear of trigger guard where something was once stamped. This revolver dates to the first year of production.
