According to the factory letter, this revolver was shipped on July 18th, 1911 and delivered to Heartly, Stalckhaver Fay Co. of New York City with a 5" barrel and nickle finish. It was built on the five screw N frame. Revolver has be re-nickled at some point. Right side of frame still has a strong Smith & Wesson logo on frame. Barrel has been re-stamped .44 Smith & Wesson and has no barrel address. Barrel retains about 85% of the reapplied finish. Sports replaced period correct diamond grips with no medallion. Fine action and bore.
