Factory letter states that this revolver was shipped on June 27th, 1911 and delivered to Folsom Arms Co, New York City with blue finish and checkered walnut grips. Subsequently, this revolver has been nickel plated with gold wash hammer and trigger and a pair of composite grips added. Whomever preformed this work polished all the markings with the exception of the serial number which can be seen on butt, partially on cylinder and on barrel. Revolver retains about 95% of the reapplied finish. Indexes and locks up fine and has a very good bore.
