(C) TOKYO GAS AND ELECTRIC BABY NAMBU 7MM SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER.
Rare Type "B" Baby Nambu by Tokyo Gas & Electric with the TGE crest on chamber. Blue finished with checkered wood grips and straw finished levers and trigger, Nickel finished magazine with alloy base. Introduced in 1909 with assembly discontinued in 1929. The Baby Nambu was extremely expensive to produce and as such a very limited amount were produced. These prized pistols were privately purchased by wealthy officers and survival was very limited due to the Japanese Island campaigns. Pistol is complete with the scarce canvas flap holster with carry straps. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with 98% blue finish all matching numbers including magazine. Mechanically excellent. Grips are very fine. Holster with straps is excellent with solid stitching an no soiling.
