(C) WINCHESTER M59 SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN.
Considered one of the first truly light weight auto shotguns, this model was only produced from 1959 through 1965. To keep the weight down, this model features an engraved field scene Aluminum alloy frame with an almost black Anodized finish. The named "Win-Lite" barrel is a high-strength steel liner wrapped in glass fibers and has the applied black epoxy finish. Barrel exhibits the standard Winchester legends and single bead front sight. The alloy trigger guard is in the white. This example features the checkered pistol grip walnut stock , black Winchester pad and matching checkered forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains nearly all of its highly fragile finish exhibiting only minor handling marks. The stock is solid but shows sundry impressions especially on the left side. Forearm shows a few light dents. Bore is bright.
