(C) WINCHESTER M59 SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN.
Produced from 1959 through 1965. This was a very forward thinking design with its alloy frame and steel sleeve barrel wrapped in fiberglass making it one of the earliest light weight automatic shotguns on the market. Features the lightly engraved game scene on the frame, blue black finish, plain pistol grip walnut stock with black Winchester butt plate, matching forearm and plain barrel with single bead front sight. CONDITION: Excellent. The finish on these shotguns were very fragile and susceptible to wear. This fine example retains at least 98% of its finish showing just some nominal handling marks. Stocks are excellent with miniscule impressions. Bore is bright.
