Manufactured in 1917. Standard blue finish, a folding Beech front sight, flat top sporting long tang rear sight, a Lyman tang sight, and walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. This nice rifle still retains at least 70% bright blue on frame with some freckling. Barrel retains at least 90% bright blue with scattered handling and bold Winchester barrel legends. Stock is excellent with some scattered impressions and dings. Forearm is in commensurate condition. Even the stock cap shows considerable blue. Bore is strong. Far better than average. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
