Manufactured in 1907 with 20" round barrel chambered in .44 WCF (.44-40 Winchester Center Fire) with carbine blade front sight, full length magazine tube, and carbine ladder rear sight. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm with single barrel band and replacement aftermarket rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with bluing on barrel turned a blue-brown patina with areas of chemical blending and freckling. Receiver shows areas of heavy cleaning and is overall a blue to bright patina. Stock and forearm are very good with modest wear, crack near buttplate toe, and wood filler where rifle buttplate was fitted. Action is loose and needs attention. Bore is dark.
