Scarce Winchester Model 53 lever action rifle built by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1925. 22" blued round Nickel Steel barrel with integral dovetail bead front sight and 22G rear sight. Blued takedown frame with plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with crescent steel buttplate and matching plain walnut forearm with 2/3rds takedown magazine tube. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with edge and carry wear. Frame has been cleaned long ago and is now turning to a silvery brown. Wood has been cleaned with added coat of oil. Good bore with good mechanics. DLM
