(C) WINCHESTER MODEL 64 LEVER ACTION RIFLE IN .219 ZIPPER.

Manufactured in 1949. This caliber was not catalogued after 1941. The .219 Zipper barrel has the PW proof along with the mail order barrel stamped "P" in oval, so this barrel was factory ordered and installed after 1949. Features the blue finish, round barrel, hooded ramp front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, and the left side of receiver has been tapped and filled for sight. The walnut stock features the plain pistol grip with checkered steel butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Metal retains virtually all its expertly reapplied blue finish with sharp barrel legends. Stock is excellent with nominal impressions and proud to metal. Mechanically functional. Bore is well defined but lightly frosted.
