Issued in 1978 in a limited run of 19,999 carbines. The frame, barrel bands and lever are gold plated. Both sides of the frame are engraved showing various game such as deer and elk. The right side of the stock exhibits the special gold medallion. The right side of barrel shows the gold Antlered Game slogan. Balance of metal is finely blued. The oil finish walnut stock features a checkered wrist with matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine with some notes to storage issues. There is a bit of rust on butt plate. Carbine retains nearly all its gold plating but there is a spot of finish bubbling on top rear left side near hammer. Blue finish is intact with few age spots near rear sight. Wood is excellent with few minor dark lines on left side. Mechanically sound. Bore is well defined with some minor residue. Comes with box.
