Released in 1959 and produced through 1965. It is regarded as the first truly light weight autoloading American shotgun. The most innovative features are its gloss black epoxy finished fiberglass-wrapped steel core "Win-Lite" barrel, the blue/anodized aluminum receiver and the alloy trigger guard. The barrel reveals a single bead front sight along with a checkered pistol grip straight comb walnut stock , an aftermarket solid black recoil pad and matching checkered forearm. Although this is a Model 59, it is not stamped as such on either the barrel or frame. CONDITION: Fine. The frame retains virtually all of its high polish finish. The barrel retains most of its blue as well but exhibits sundry handling marks as usual with the delicate finish. Stocks are excellent displaying nominal impressions. Bore is bright.
