(C) WINCHESTER ROUND BARREL MODEL 1890 SLIDE ACTION .22 L.R. RIFLE.

Originally built in 1899. It is fitted with a late round barrel stamped Model 90 and has the factory P in circle mail order barrel. Tube was replaced at same time. The smooth stock and forearm are the 1906 style along with the Winchester gutta percha butt plate. CONDITION: Fine as later rebuild. Barrel and tube retain nearly all of their blue finish showing negligible handling. Frame has faded to a soft homogenous patina with a dulling blue hue. Stock exhibits some sundry impressions with few more dings on forearm and added finish. Mechanically sound with a bright factory crowned bore.
