Lot #1390:
(C) WWII GERMAN MILITARY INSPECTED FN HI-POWER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL.
This pistol was produced under German occupation in 1943 or very early 1944. The left side of frame and slide have the WaA 140 and Eagle with Swastika proof stamps. Barrel has the same eagle proof stamp. All visible numbers are matching. Standard features include the dovetailed rear sight and light weight hammer. This entire gun was plated, probably after the war as a GI bring back. Walnut grips are smooth. Comes with one plated magazine. CONDITION: Very good. Retains the majority of its nickel plating but scattered freckles and bubbles exist beneath the surface. Legends are all legible. Bore is well defined but shows some frosting.
