Heavy tapered fluted barrel fit with clamp on two chamber muzzle brake and British nitro proof for a .300 Win Mag on right side of shank; bottom of barrel marked "21540", which correctly does not match the receiver. Receiver with British proof, SM Super Magnum prefix, 03 date code, and matching serial numbers on bolt head and bolt assembly. US Optics 20 MOA rail marked "U.S. OPTICS .308 20 MOA D.A. A.I. AW" and mounted with a Schmidt & Bender PMII 4-16x50 FFP scope with mil-dot reticle and an added spirit level. 1.5 variant of the iconic thumbhole stock with adjustable cheekpiece and AI branded recoil pad. 2 additional magazines are included. CONDITION: Retains the vast majority of the factory finishes with scattered handling marks throughout from range use, some silvering. Some scuffs and mottling from storage, some heavy rash to pistol grip, and fine oxidation to cheekpiece screws. Mechanically fine, bore with strong rifling and some mild frosting to lands. Scope is clear and throws smoothly. A good example of one of the most iconic sniper rifles of all time.
