This revolver was manufactured in 1959, the year the Buntline Scout Model was introduced. It is a single action chambered for the .22 LR rimfire cartridge with standard features that include a 9-1/2" barrel, blued finish, Colt logo black plastic grips, six shot, and single action only. The barrel and ejector housing retain approximately 10% original blue with the balance brown patina and some minor rust. The frame retains approximately 90% original blue. Cylinder retains approximately 85% original blue with some spotting. Black plastic grips are excellent. Action is perfect. Bore is excellent. This should make a fine shooter and is a fairly rare model, and as such, would be a great candidate for restoration.
