Circa 1972. An interesting and unusual game gun with 26 - 1/4" blued steel barrels and 2 - 3/4" chambers. The barrels are built with ejectors, smooth game concave tapered rib, and small steel round front bead sight. Rib reads "ARMI FAMARS". Bottoms of barrels stamped "KG 1000", "14,4" with proof markings. Mid rib stamped with "Z". Barrel flats stamped "CAM 70", "FINITO" with "*" above, "FAMARS", "SA","29674". Rear lump stamped "REMO", "TONY", and "FRANCO". Barrel flats also with border engraving. Rib engraved with ancient "Egiti" hunting scenes and scrolls in gold and silver. Barrels at muzzle with gold and silver inlay of fancy yet demure fluer de lis pattern panels. Breech end of barrels adorned with gold and silver inlays of ancient and primitive hunt scenes and gold inlaid barrel band. Chokes are Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder. Small non-auto safe sidelock action with set disk strikers, gas escape ports and blacked checkered single mechanical trigger. Barrels, rib sidelock plates, bottom action, top lever, top strap, trigger guard, and bottom strap all incredibly engraved with ancient hunt scenes with gold, silver and copper by Master Engraver Galeazzi. This functional piece of art is signed and date by Galeazzi on lockplate and trigger plate. Bottom tang with serial number "29674" in gold. A reddish brown European walnut stock with English straight hand grip has drop points, extra fine checkering at grip and matched checkering at butt. The matching semi beavertail forend has matched checkering and engraving on exterior blacked iron metal and escutcheon. Anson style release is checkered. Forend also with "FAMARS" gold shield. Interior Iron metal with serial number "29674". This unique gun lives in a black luggage case with snap caps and gun socks. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain 99% original blue. Ghosts in rib. Action is tight, ejectors are in time and trigger is crisp. Stock and forend very good. Unique and great gun. CP
