Fairly faithful copy of a US Model 1873 saddle ring carbine with exception to the front and rear sights which are not even close to the original. In addition, this gun is finished in all blue without case colors with exception to the US stamped butt plate (no trap door) . the walnut stock does have the script P at wrist but no cartouche. The lock has the eagle with US SPRINGFIELD. The block reads US MODEL 1873 with no eagle. Left side of black has "CAVALRY MODEL" IN SCRIPT. Barrel has the H&R legends. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all the metal and wood finish with light handling marks. Bore is sharp.
