These guns were built by Dave Higginbotham. He was a well know builder of Remington rolling block style rifles before his untimely death in 2011 from an accidental discharge. Built in Conroe, Texas. 28 inches long octagon barrel, measuring 1 inch across the flats. Folding rear sight. Flip front sight. Maker marked on the upper tang of the receiver. Caliber marked (.50) on the bottom of the barrel. Case colored steel trigger guard. CONDITION: Retains 98% vibrant case colors and an equal amount of original blue. All markings are clear. Wood is fine with minimal handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. GR
