This Colt Service Model Ace Signature Series is a commemorative .22 LR 1911-style pistol. Produced around 1980–1981, it features a special floating chamber to simulate .45 ACP recoil. Features a gold etching of Sam Colt’s signature, and smooth rosewood grips with Custom Shop medallions. These were special-run display pieces and they are heavily sought after by firearm collectors. This example is complete with the original paperwork, hang tag and display case. CONDITION: The pistol appears new and unfired since factory. There are light handling marks present. The display case shows some wear and a few dings.
