Manufactured by SIG in Switzerland as semi-automatic commercial derivative of the SIG 510 rifle for the American market; it is estimated only around 3000 were imported. This example was imported by SIGARMS of Tysons Corner, Virginia. The blued barrel is currently fitted a cage style flash hider and heat shield. Protected post front sight and aperture rear graduated to 600 meters. A 1965 Dr. Woehler, Kassel made No. 87 MK I scope on quick detach base is included. Matte finished stamped construction receiver with folding winter trigger. Furniture includes a figured walnut splinter forend, ribbed plastic pistol grip, and walnut stock with ribbed butt plate. Externally visible matching numbers observed throughout. Gun is accompanied by 7 total magazines, a grenade launcher muzzle device, and an inert practice grenade. CONDITION: Excellent. Virtually all of the factory finishes are retained with a few handling marks. Stocks also have a couple minor impressions. Very fine bore. Fine mechanics. A very nice, well accessorized example of a highly desirable SIG.
