This high quality gun has a tapered matted top rib with small steel front bead. The barrels are of chopper lump manufacture and they have engine turned flats and are import marked on tops of right tube. The frame and locks are engraved in a simple foliate rose and scroll and are beautifully casehardened. The straight gripped buttstock has a blued long tang triggerguard The gun has a single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and auto safety. The word "Safe" in gold on top tang. Straight grip stock is nicely figured European walnut and has a skip line checkered butt. The locks are hand detachable. The checkered splinter forearm has a Curtis type push button release. The triggerguard is beautifully inlaid with gold initials "SJD" at front of bow. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Barrels and action retain nearly all of their original finishes with only higher point edge wear and minor handling marks. The buttstock shows a repair on the bottom right finger which should be addressed and corrected professionally, otherwise stocks are sound and retain nearly all of their original finish with only minor handling marks. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. JSL
