(M) WINCHESTER M59 SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN.
This highly innovated light weight shotgun was produced only from 1959 through 1965. Utilizing the alloy frame and trigger guard along with a steel barrel liner covered in fiberglass making for one of the earliest shotguns of its type. Frame exhibits the lightly engraved game scene and uses the anodized black gloss finish while the the wound fiberglass "Win-Lite" barrel features the shiny black epoxy resin/gel coat finish. This finish was highly susceptible to wear. The barrel is plain with a single bead front sight, a plain pistol grip walnut stock with solid black pad and brass monogram at wrist cap. Also features the matching walnut forearm. Exhibits proper Winchester legends on right side of frame and barrel. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains at least 98% of this shallow finish exhibiting minor sundry handling marks. Stocks are excellent displaying minor impressions but does have tight closed hairline on left side of stock and right side of wrist. Bore is bright.
