Winchester Commemorative Model 94 Limited Edition II made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1979 to mark the sale of 5 million 94s. 1 of 1500 made. 20" Winchester Proof Steel carbine style round barrel, blade front sight, buckhorn rear sight, marked with Winchester address and "LIMITED EDITION II by WINCHESTER" in gold wash. Blued full tubular magazine. Gold washed receiver with game scene and floral engraving, gold washed lever and hammer, and blued trigger and floorplate. High lustre finished checkered walnut stock with blued crescent buttplate, checkered forearm, and blued barrel band. Comes with letter from Winchester stating authenticity and inviting owner to fill out card to receive free brass monogram plate with name engraved on it, which he did. Case is made of walnut with blue felt fitted compartment and trimmed with brass hardware. CONDITION: As new with some storage marks and dings and possibly unfired.
