Very sought after Colt Model SMG in 9mm with three shot burst selector. Upper assembly has non-adjustable-for-elevation rear sight. One original Colt 9mm 32 round magazine is included with this lot. This variant of the M16 was made for the civilian market. This carbine incorporates a telescoping buttstock as well as a bird-cage flash hider, round handguards, and no forward assist. Electronic NFA registry indicates “COLT” in the manufacturer’s block. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original finish. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. This is a select-fire machine gun. A very highly sought after firearm for the modern Colt rifle or machine gun enthusiast.
