This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/11/2024
This is one of the very few fully transferable Curio & Relic eligible Mauser broomhandle Schnellfeuer machine pistols in the National Firearms Act Registry, which bears an original Nazi eagle proof on the left chamber flat. There can be no question as to the authenticity of this mark as this pistol retains its original finish and the right wing of this eagle mark is a soft strike, which only adds to the authenticity of it. Consider also that this pistol was consigned to auction without any attention brought to this mark by the consignor. One original 10-shot magazine is included with this lot, but no shoulder stock present. Typical factory markings including crown over “U” proof on left side chamber flat and top of bolt left side with Mauser banner logo on left with wonderfully clear and sharp ”WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P.” on right side panel. Electronic NFA registry indicates “MAUSER” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine or better original finish thinning at the high edges and near the muzzle of the barrel and bottom of the selector, and with a slight blemish of the left side near the ejector port. Grips are near excellent with some slight handling marks. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. This pistol has the combination of the most desirable markings and condition. For the advanced, forwarded-thinking would-be collector/buyer of this pistol, no further details are needed. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2024-12-21.
