Originally manufactured by Steyr-Daimler-Puch as a semi-automatic AUG rifle and imported by Interarms, this gun was converted into a fully transferable machine gun by Hard Times Armory, and is so marked on the right side of the receiver. No magazine present. Green web sling is attached to the rear sling swivel. Visible numbers are matching including receiver and barrel. Green composite stock. Integral optical sight at top of receiver which doubles as a carrying handle. "Interarms" import marking visible on right side of barrel. The Steyr AUG has been a highly successful and effective bullpup design and has been used by the military forces of several countries since production started in the late 1970s. These guns are compact, durable, accurate, and versatile, being able to be readily converted to fire 9mm. Any one of these models as a fully transferable machine gun is in high demand by recreational shooters who have tried one of these at the range. Electronic NFA registry indicates “INTERNATIONAL ARMORED GROUP” in the manufacturer’s block. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original blued finish on the barrel and black hardcoat finish on other metal parts with near excellent green composite furnishings. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a fully-automatic only machine gun. A great package for the machine gun enthusiast.
