(N) HECKLER & KOCH HK G3 REGISTERED RECEIVER MACHINE GUN RECEIVER WITH BARREL AND GAS CYLINDER (FULLY TRANSFERABLE).

This is a registered receiver machine gun which indicates, “HECKLER AND KOCH GMBH” in the manufacturer’s block and “G3” in the model block in the BATF Electronic NFA registry. This alone makes this a noteworthy and very valuable gun. Left side of magazine housing is marked “HK” over “G3” with serial number and proof mark “IB” indicating 1981 manufacture. In only 5-10 more years this gun will become Curio and Relic Eligible. This receiver has a push-button magazine release with recess for tab type release. Front sight present, no rear sight. Barrel and gas cylinder present. No internals. Right side of magazine well marked "Made in Germany HK Inc. Arl Va 22201”. Electronic NFA Registry indicates " HECKLER AND KOCH GMBH" in the manufacturer’s block. PROVENANCE: From the machine gun collection of noted William “Happiness is a Warm Machine Gun” Fleming. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent black hard coat finish. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Interior is so clean as there is a question whether this receiver has ever been fired since factory new. A tremendously attractive piece needing only the appropriate parts and assembly to be one of the finest condition specimens of its kind! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2026-05-25.
