One of three being offered in this auction, this is an unprecedented opportunity for a private citizen to acquire and own an original factory produced Israeli Military Industries Mini Uzi. Marked “MINI UZI” on left side of the receiver over “9mm Para” over serial number, and, on underside of receiver, “ACTION ARMS LTD” over “PHILA, PA” over “IMI ISRAEL”. The selector is marked, “A R S”. One original 25 round magazine is included with this lot. The Uzi as a model is a highly effective and accurate machine gun in the hands of a practiced user. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF) is in the process of removing restrictions on previously Pre-86 Dealer Sample restricted machine guns which meet special and specific criteria of “GOV Exception Use”. This is one such gun. Manufacturer’s information such as, “Imported NFA Firearm” is not being changed incidental to this process. Please note that we have official verification from the BATF that this gun is indeed unrestricted and fully transferable to individuals. Also, dealers, please note: Just because what you thought was a Pre-86 Dealer Sample now shows as “white” in your electronic NFA registry listing online is not a conclusive indicator that restrictions have been removed from that item. One must inquire specifically by serial number to the BATF in writing in order to verify that restrictions have been removed. Electronic NFA registry indicates “IMPORTED NFA FIREARM” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original factory matte blue finish on receiver with black enamel finish on lower assembly and folding shoulder brace, with very little evidence of firing. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. This particular model with folding stock is the most sought after of the different models produced based solely on queries this cataloger has received. Add to this the fact that this is factory original gun and one has a particularly desirable and rare machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
