Original conversion done by Murray Urbach, with later tweaking by Terry Dyer to fit full auto components. Included is a copy of the original invoice from Terry Dyer when he tweaked trigger pack and hammer. Actual HK factory pins were cut in half to replicate the authentic look on the trigger pack. This HK 53 also includes a rarely seen HK factory extended selector to facilitate ease in shifting between firing modes. Four position diopter drum rear sight, protected post front sight. Left side of magazine well with "HK 53 A130634 / Cal. .223 / (German Nitro Proof) IB (Ulm proof)". IB date code for 1981. Solid composite stock and forearm. Correct HK factory 4 prong flash hider. FBI pictogram 3 position trigger pack with false push pin and Full / Semi / Safe selector positions. Jungle configuration mags with HK coupler, followers both marked "6/1/76". Spare short mag with no markings. Spare small parts including firing pin, firing pin spring, extractor, and extractor spring. PROVENANCE: Copies of original Form 3 paperwork, invoices. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining the vast majority of the black enamel finish with a few marks from handling and operation throughout. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling. Bolt face is fine with some evidence of use. Magazines are fine with handling marks throughout. Iconic HK firearm ready for the range. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
