Of standard configuration throughout, with early type lock marked S. North in downward curve over American eagle over US and MIDDLN CONN in an upward curve. Barrel struck HHP and P over US. Stock with vestiges of cartouche obscured by old varnish. CONDITION: Barrel polished bright over pits, more evident at touch hole. Lock is good with minor surface rust. Pan is dented. Mounts are polished over old minor pitting. Stock with some wear but no significant damage or breaks. Exhibits coat of old varnish. Mainspring is slightly weak but stays on cock. Ramrod is a recent replacement. Bore is good. A full dimension example of this US martial pistol. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
