This Adams patent 1851 revolver sports the Beaumont improvement that allows the gun to be used in single action mode as well as double action. Period conversion to allow use of cartridges. It features the octagon barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut grips, and lanyard loop. Matching serial number stamped on the cylinder. Adams legend stamped on right side of frame with "II" stamped on left barrel lug along with several British proof stamps. CONDITION: Fine. Overall, retains about 60-70% of its bright blue with balance drifted to a soft patina. All legends are sharp. Grips are excellent. Mechanically sound with a strong bright bore showing nominal abrasion.
