These small brass frame tip up revolvers based upon the Smith & Wesson type were produced in Newark, New Jersey from 1868 through 1873. The maker legend is stamped atop the octagon barrel rib and features the spur trigger, 7-shot blued non-fluted cylinder and square butt rosewood grips. CONDITION: Very good. Brass has aged and toned nicely. Barrel legends are sharp. Barrel and cylinder retain at least 75% blue that is blending patina. Grips are very good displaying a hairline crack on left panel. Mechanically sound with a well pronounced fairly clean bore.
